74. When possible, to learn about something, GO, SEE and DO.

“You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him discover it in himself.” -Galileo

You chose "Coastal Georgia" as your theme for your science project this year.

It met two educational goals for you - completing a science project (and thus the research process) and learning more about the state we live in.

We used the guide for the Girl Scout badge on Coastal Georgia as our guide for your project.

To learn about Coastal Georgia, we spent a week - in COASTAL GEORGIA!

We explored the Sea Turtle center on Jekyll Island, visited the Marine Center on Skidaway Island, investigated Savannah, and swam/fished/boated around Saint Simons.

Throughout the trip, you kept a notebook with notes and pictures of the discoveries you made.

When we returned, you completed a backboard to exhibit at Family Night.

I am so proud of you for all the hard work you put into your project.

When possible, to learn about something, GO, SEE and DO!
